Waterford, Ireland. Mourners arrive at a church only to find the deceased missing. Jimmy wakes up in his sitting room hungover to Jesus, only to find a coffin behind the couch and Ted knocking at the door.

Pat Daly's black comedy of drink, drugs, friendship and mortality Rigor Mortis receives its UK premiere at the Hope Theatre in a brand new production featuring Michael Quinlan (This is England, Moon for The Misbegotten in New York) and Paul Connaughton (Druid Theatre Co, Dublin's Gate Theatre), and directed by Aidan Kelly (RSC, NT, Abbey Theatre).
