Human Issue
Frank, is a struggling stand up comedian and self professed cultural provocateur. He is experiencing issues, both in his professional and personal life. The bailiffs have reposed almost everything he owns leaving him nothing more than an eviction notice and a lot of questions. He`s intelligent, he`s funny, he`s frustrated, he`s frank and he`s just about to kill himself.
But first, he has one or two important things he`d like to say.
The world premiere of Human Issue is a powerful 60 minute one man metatheatrical play delivered as part monologue, part stand up comedy routine. With suicide being the most common form of death in men in the UK, Franks` story is a poignant and inspiring personal exploration of an important and sensitive subject and although told with a dark philosophical wit, is a story of hope and a celebration of the tenacious nature of humanity.
This is the first production for Mark Savage Theatre Company who are proud to be premiering at The Hope Theatre on an Equity approved fringe contract.
