Na Mooney's

Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh, fiddle player and Irish singer with the famous Irish band Altan, comes to the Irish Cultural Centre with members of her amazing musical family band ‘Na Mooney’s!’

Comprising of two generations, they are:
Mairead, with her sister, Anna Ní Mhaonaigh, (on whistle and vocals,) their brother, Gearoid O Maonaigh (on guitar,) ...his son Ciaran O Maonaigh (on fiddle and octave fiddle,) Mairead’s daughter, Nia Byrne (on fiddle and song,) and Ciaran’s wife, the Irish dancer and concertina player, Caitlin Nic Gabhann.

Joining them all will be their neighbour and friend, the internationally acclaimed Irish musician, Manus Lunny, (on bazouki and keyboards.)
