This event has been and gone.
Two women, flat-mates and best friends at University, meet ten years after Tris, (Charlotte Hunter) walked out of the flat they shared without warning or explanation. Now a divorced single mum in a dead-end job, she reaches out to Lottie, (Amy Kakoura), who has found fame and fortune as a writer, and we uncover the secret that tore their bond apart.
This is a development production of a new play by Andrew Sharpe following a year in workshop with director Lily Driver and successful performances of extracts of the work at scratch nights at the Hen and Chickens Theatre and the Cockpit Theatre. This is the first of seven successive nights of new writing at the Hackney Attic Theatre Festival.
