Her name means 'joy has come home' in Yoruba, a tribe and language spoken in Nigeria, the home of her parents. With breathtaking gospel style vocals, Ayo-Dele seamlessly fuses together her roots in African story-telling and rhythms with hints of Soul, Rare Groove, R&B and a hint of English Folk. With musical influences such as King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Good Women Choir, Bob Marley and Fela Kuti woven to her own style, and a tight, lively band behind her... prepare to be moved!
