Good Safeguarding Practice In Music Education

Join representatives from across the music, sport and dance sectors for a day of discussion and debate about the use of physical contact in music education on Monday 5 October at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Do you think touch is necessary when teaching an instrument or in vocal tuition? What might constitute best practice in relation to touch in music education?

These questions will be addressed and other key questions during the day through panel discussions, in-depth group work and feedback sessions.
