Three guitars, percussion and the world to explore...
Acoustic travel books, Sweet grooves and Ethno-Jazz from Paris, France.

Percussionist Xavier Hamon and three guitarists Simon Chenet, Fabrice Bourguignat and Christophe Combet are touring around the world writing their musical travel book.

First album, Can I Talk to You ? (2007) was recorded live during a Balkan tour (Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia). Second one : Pariwaga (2010), was taped in Africa after the band was invited to play on the Ouagadougou Jazz Festival (Burkina Faso) and at the Algiers Jazz Festival (Algeria).
Their latest album, WagaMumbaï (2013), followed an Indian journey of 12 concerts and was recorded in Mumbai (India).

YAPA are now composing music for their next album. Inspiration is coming from two islands they've been touring : Tahiti in Polynesia (they were invited to Tahiti Guitar Festival) and England, as they've played London various times over the past few years.
