Tim Penn, Chris Proctor

The Basement at Green Note hosts the best of early Blues and Jazz, on Friday 27 November they will host one of the most in demand keyboard players on the roots, songwriter and blues scenes, Tim Penn, who's influences range from stride and barrelhouse piano styles of the 1920s, through to the great New Orleans piano players like Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, and Dr. John.

On the evening he will be joined by Chris Proctor who plays guitar in Tim’s own band, The Second Line.
