If ever there was a dream meant-to-be pairing it was when the colourful frontman of hot Canadian band Petunia and The Vipers hooked up with renowned American old-time picker Nathan Godfrey.

Expect to hear echoes of Hank Williams, Lefty Frizell, Jimme Rodgers and Riley Puckett as well as originals which will be familiar to fans of The Vipers’ shows.

Whenever Petunia takes the stage for a solo spotlight, it is always powerfully impressive.

Godfrey, his multi-talented side-kick, who joins him on vocals and resonator guitar, mandolin or banjo, is recognised as one of Canada’s leading old-time performers and also hosts his own radio show.

They have toured extensively on the US-Canadian circuit in this superb duo format to become recognised as one of the truly great live experiences.
