Following the release of debut album “Got Me Out Of Hell”, blues and roots influenced Ma Polaine’s Great Decline continue to build a reputation as an unique and hard to pigeon-hole act, with the live show drawing curiosity and emotion with inventive song-writing and on-stage instrument changes.

Described as “like a young Billie Holiday gate-crashing a Tom Waits Swordfishtrombones recording session”, with a sound that “wouldn’t be out of place in a speakeasy or the Left Bank”, the album has received high praise from radio presenters and reviewers alike, with all nine tracks getting radio play across the UK.

Gaining industry recognition, Ma Polaine’s Great Decline were winners of the Reveal Records emerging artist competition, and 2014 EP release title track “Suffer It Well” was a semi-finalist in the international song writing competition.
