Hunter Muskett

Hunter Muskett is an acoustic/electric 4-piece playing mainly original songs in a folky, bluesy sometimes Americana vein.

This is a band that has been around. Originally formed in 1969 they played clubs, concerts and festivals at home and abroad until 1974. Two, now collectable, albums resulted: 'Every Time You Move' featuring bassist Danny Thompson and 'Hunter Muskett' produced by Keith Relf with Michael Giles on drums.

Band member Doug Morter went on to carve out a career as the ‘go-to’ vocalist/guitarist of the folk-rock scene, his credits including: The Albion Band, Maddy Prior, Sandy Denny Tribute (with the original members of Fotheringay). He has also gigged alongside US guitar aces Elliott Randall and Jerry Donahue.
