London Unhinged Festival
Travelling cult event Unhinged Festival comes to London on Friday 23rd November at the legendary 'Electric Brixton' club. Unhinged is a multi-disciplinary festival comprising arts, music, film, fashion, and performance art.
Yellow – a neo-Giallo short film in which a reclusive man is on the hunt for a vicious serial killer in neon-lit Berlin will be screened. Ryan Haysom’s cult horror flick has previously been shown at FilmFour’s Frightfest and Screamfest LA and received rave reviews.
A live painting session by renowned street artist Blam will see a piece of his artwork created live at Unhinged, and projected across the venue for all to see.
There will be over 70 pieces of home-grown art on display at Unhinged, ranging from installations, canvases, photography and sculptures which will be suspended from the main ceiling over the dance floor.
Surely, there hasn’t been such an overt fusion of clubbing and art since Andy Warhol frequented Studio 54.
Ghostpoet will be DJing only.
Christian Laing
