Oliver Jeffers Week - May Half Term

We're celebrating everything Oliver Jeffers this May Half Term and Bank Holiday with some of our favourite Oliver Jeffers stories as told by our Story Builders (3+) and crafts inspired by his books (6+).

Settle down this Bank Holiday weekend to all three 'The Hueys in...' books, 'It Wasn't Me', 'The New Jumper' and 'None The Number', then make a lovely little jumper for your little Huey to take home. Older children will enjoy creating mathematical mayhem in the garden with our Story Builders.

Our Story Builders have some fabulous stories to share over May Half Term: join them for Stuck, The Great Paper Caper and The Incredible Book Eating Boy (3+) all by Oliver Jeffers. Children aged 6+ can have a go at making and decorating kites and planes in our Kite and Paper Airplane making workshops inspired by Oliver Jeffers' stories.

While you're at Discover, don't forget to explore The Wonderful World of Oliver Jeffers in our interactive family exhibition, dress up on the Story Trail and climb the Magic Tower and sail away on the Pirate Ship in the Story Garden.

Be sure to bring your babies and toddlers to Boat, Plane; Home Again, every day over May Half Term at 11.30am and 1.30pm, especially designed for 0 - 3s and inspired by Once There Was... The Wonderful World of Oliver Jeffers.
