Maverick violinist Lizzie Ball is founder of 'Classical Kicks', a unique classical crossover night with residency at Ronnie Scott's upstairs. Highlights of her bio include appearances with Jeff Beck at Madison Square Garden, orchestra leader and soloist with Nigel Kennedy and co-founder of a brand new kind of song competition, Tracks4Change, which aims to inspire social change through song-writing and composition. Lizzie will make her first London Jazz Festival appearance with the stellar James Pearson on piano and Sam Burgess on bass to pay tribute to two of the jazz greats, Stephane Grappelli and George Shearing. Using specially created transcriptions and arrangements by Andrew Cottee and Pearson of the iconic 'Reunion' album of 1973, be prepared to be transported back to this glorious age in this heart-warming musical celebration.
