Pratap Pawar Triveni Dance Company

"India's Divine Dancer", an exponent of Kathak dance, in his 55 years long career, Guru Pratap Pawar has toured the world and trained advance level students including the well known Akram Khan.

He pioneered the concept of "East meets West" in classical Indian dance in the UK and has performed for Her Majesty the Queen of England and the house of House of Commons.

Guru Pratap Pawar has also had the honor for performing for dignitaries such as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and J.F Kennedy. Having received the prestigious Padmashri award in 2008 from the President of India, he is the torch bearer of the Lucknow Gharana style of Kathak dance in the UK.
