Geppetto, the carpenter, carves a puppet called Pinocchio from a block of wood.

But the naughty puppet abandons Geppetto in favour of a life of adventure. Jealous of his new friends, Pinocchio is desperate to become a real boy, but what sacrifices will he have to make before he can achieve his dream?

This extraordinary story of redemption is also a hysterical satire on growing up and features a leading actor whose nose really does grow live on stage!

Produced in association with international award winning theatre company Illyria, Wizard Theatre, now in it's 14th year, is delighted to be returning to The Cockpit following the success of last year's production, Robin Hood.
