Blood Wedding

On the eve of the wedding of a young couple from rival families, the bride elopes with a former lover. A chase ensues and the groom's mother is torn between a desire for vengeance and the instinct to protect her son.
Set in rural Andalucia in 1932, Federico García Lorca's surrealist blood-soaked story of doomed love, emotional and physical isolation remains a poignant pastoral tragedy.
