JAZZHEADCHRONIC following his trademark big drop theory and mighty get down funk/soul/breaks DJ mantra (you will dance), alongside Bristolian Funk head BOCA 45 and one of Europe's Fiercest and Funkiest Live Bands, the truly magnificent MIGHTY MOCAMBOS (Live). All artists joining forces to Nuke the Level 1 Live Stage with a positive barrage of funk, soul, disco, rare groove, hip hop, latin, brass, breaks, beats and beyond. LEVEL 1 - THE MIGHTY MOCAMBOS (LIVE) - Band on stage around midnight

The Mighty Mocambos and their many incarnations have released dozens of 45s and several albums on their own imprint Mocambo Records and other labels such as Kay Dee, Truth & Soul, Tramp, Légère and Favorite Recordings, to name a few.

They have collaborated with musical legends such as Afrika Bambaataa, Lee Fields, Ice-T, Charlie Funk, Peter Thomas or Kenny Dope, put new talent like Gizelle Smith and Caroline Lacaze on the map, brought Caribbean steel drums to funk clubs with their alter ego Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band, and have toured through all civilized parts of the continent and beyond for the better part of the last years.

Then on LEVEL 2 - We hand over to the DUSTY DONUTS Vinyl only Berlin - London - Hamburg Label crew. Cut & Paste Turntablist / DD head JIM SHARP & The Mighty DJ ALI-B Spreading the good stuff with unique Hip Hop & Funk infused Edits to bring the house down. Every time! Time to get down on it and sew the seeds for the future joint pain.

The South London Soul Train 3 Floor Line up completed in THE RYE WAX / BASEMENT by THE RYE WAX DISCOMITES. Rye Wax residents exploring the deeper side of Disco. Rare Cuts to Classics, Jump Up to Get Down. Expect pure fire in the basement, as Rye Wax DJs ignite a powder keg of good time sounds. Time to positively tear the roof off the sucka and dance.

The South London Soul Train (as always) All floors, will be taking, all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.

The South London Soul Train Runs 10pm - 5am / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD / Takes place every Saturday night at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org + beyond.
