Guest hosts Russ Dewbury & Friends joined by ex Amy Winehouse backing singer, vocalist and stunning 21st century soul artist, Zalon Thompson (Live). If you've seen Zalon perform at the SLST before, you know that this man truly is the ultimate entertainer and will definitely ensure that you "Get it On" and On and On. All night long at the CLF Art Cafe, Block A, Bussey Building.

Level 1 - Zalon Thompson (Live) Band on stage around midnight

Zalon Thompson might be better known as a backing singer for the late Amy Winehouse [who signed him as an artist in his own right to her Lioness label, as well as encouraging him to perform his solo work during her live sets] However in the here and now, 2020, It’s a new chapter for Zalon, expect to hear music from his latest album 'Liquid Sonic Sex' - packed with a treasure trove of smooth soul ballads and upfront grooves in the vein of Curtis Mayfield & Marvin Gaye, as well as some Amy Winehouse Classics + Beyond! Zalons on a roll people and we are truly excited to welcome him back to The South London Soul Train Live Stage. Let’s get it on!

Then on Level 2, Legendary Funk, Soul & Rare Groove Heads DJs Snowboy and Andy Lewis hold down proceedings with an almighty rare on 45 100% guaranteed dancefloor demolition session. Bringin' the funkin’ heat on 45 to the dancefloor and igniting it, Again and again. As always, beware the soul shrapnel as the dancefloor goes BOOM!

The South London Soul Train line up completed in Room 3 (Level 2/Room 2)! Keith Lawrence taking to the decks to deliver another 'red hot and steaming' strictly 70's to 90's session in Tru-Skool Beats. The Mighty Keith Lawrence serving up a dynamite selection of the absolute finest in 70’s & 80’s Soul, Funk & Disco to 90’s R n' B & Hip Hop, Reggae & Relative Grooves for max dancefloor satisfaction. All tunes dropped hard, in earnest and without mercy.

The South London Soul Train (as always) All floors, will be taking, all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Soul.

The South London Soul Train Runs 10pm - 5am / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD / Takes place every Saturday night at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org + beyond.
