Multi-level dance floor toasting session incoming!
Sat Nov 16 - The South London Soul Train once again loads up the carriages, turns things up to 11 and invites you to dance well harder y'all. Guest Hosts the Incredible Russ Dewbury & Friends plus Mukatsuku Records Founder Nik Weston (opening set) bringing the absolute finest in soul, jazz, afro, latin, breaks, beats and funk beautifully hard to the dancefloor, all night long. The Quartet of red hot artists joined by brass band buccaneers, the righteously raucous stage stormers that are Brasstermind Live and very direct at The CLF Art Cafe.

Time to get funked up!
Level 1 - Brasstermind (Live) - Band on stage around midnight
10 piece brass band from Brixton playing New Orleans/soul/funk/afrobeat/grunge brass style party tunes! Last time they hit the SLST stage so hard that it triggered a positive sonic soul Tsunami, so be warned - Best of times incoming!
Then on level 2 - Expect the Funk, The whole Funk and nothing but the Funk as Legendary 45 DJ Dean Rudland and Anthony Sturgeon load the turntables and let loose with an all night barrage of hand picked dance floor classics and rare vinyl nastiness all night long. Hell to the yeah, Strictly on the good foot!
Room 3 - S’all about too damn hot SLST residents - Mukatsuku records Founder, the outstanding Nik Weston and long standing partner, the ridiculously talented DJ Huw 72 take you on another sublime gloablistic Safari across planet groove. Hunting down the tunes that absolutely still matter and setting em on yehs. Beautifully savagely. Owwwww.
The South London Soul Train 4 Floor Line up completed in the Rye Wax Basement by Wah Wah 45 Record label heads Dom Servini & Scrimshire here to deliver a smorgasbord of palatable soul joints from the flip and love side. Funk to Soul, Disco to Boogie, Then to Now. Always on point! Absolutely, Positively, Taste. T.
The South London Soul Train (as always) All floors, will be taking, all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.
However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.
The South London Soul Train Runs 10pm - 5am / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD / Takes place every Saturday night at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org + beyond.
