Calling Festival: Aerosmith + Joe Bonamassa + Richie Sambora + Thunder + Walking Papers + Tax The Heat
Calling Festival has taken the established Hard Rock Calling festival and given it a fresh new twist at a brand new home. The festival, held at London’s Clapham Common, will feature multiple stages with 20 of the hottest acts in rock and pop performing each day, some exciting surprises and amazing on site facilities including an array of food stalls, funfair and much more.
Aerosmith are confirmed as the first headliner for the new Calling Festival, taking to the stage on Saturday 28th June. Brit rockers Thunder, Seattle hard rockers Walking Papers, guitar masterminds Joe Bonamassa and Richie Sambora are also confirmed.
Stevie Wonder headlines on Sunday 29th June, with special guests Jack Johnson, Paloma Faith and India.Arie plus more acts to be announced!

Joe Bonamassa is a living legend, one of the premier Blues/Rock guitarists on the planet and he is also evolving into a singer-songwriter of stylistic depth and emotional resonance. His ability to connect with live concert audiences is transformational. Joe Bonamassa was discovered by blues legend BB King at the age of twelve and hasn't been off the stage ever since. This culminated in the 2009 sold out Royal Albert Hall performance with Eric Clapton as guest.

The legendary rock musician and founding member of multi-platinum, Grammy-winning band Bon Jovi has spent almost three decades as an integral part of one of the world's most beloved bands. He's created some of the most instantly recognisable guitar sounds and penned many of the greatest rock anthems in a generation. In 2010 – twenty-six years after releasing their first album - his band were named the top touring act in the world for the second time, a feat only previously accomplished by The Grateful Dead and The Rolling Stones.
Richie is known for his raw vocals, indelible songwriting and world-class guitar playing. As both an acclaimed solo artist and with Bon Jovi, Richie has sold over 130 million albums worldwide and has co-written over 20 Top 40 hits and 11 Top 10 hits, including “Livin’ On A Prayer,” “You Give Love A Bad Name” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.” He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009.
In addition to his work with Bon Jovi, he has released three acclaimed solo albums that have highlighted a more personal and intimate side to Richie’s songwriting: 1991’s Stranger in This Town, and 1998’s Undiscovered Soul and 2012’s Aftermath of the Lowdown, which spawned the powerful single “Every Road Leads Home To You.”

'90s rock band with a distinct '70s British hard rock sound. Thunder picked up the mantle discarded by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Free and AC/DC playing honest bluesy metal with a twin-guitar assault and solid riffs and rhythms.

Walking Papers is a blues-rock band formed by Jeff Angell and Barrett Martin, both veterans of the Seattle music scene, and Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver). Jeff is a natural storyteller and Ben plays keyboards like a classic soul man session player. From the rhythm section comes old school, gritty, bluesy American Rock and Roll.

Bristol's Tax The Heat is born from a pure love of straight ahead rhythm and blues music. The band recorded its debut self-titled EP with desert rock king Chris Goss.
