KPO Autumn Concert

Continuing its 50th birthday season which launched in such fine style in June, the KPO brings a selection of English music to Chelsea Town Hall.

Vaughan Williams' Wasps overture is followed by his beautiful Lark Ascending in which the soloist will be the incredible young violinst Laura Ayoub. Another treat in the form of Elgar's Sea Pictures features highly regarded mezzo-soprano Amanda O'Brien. The last of Haydn's Symphonies, The London, follows and the evening ends with haunting and dramatic Four Sea Interludes by Benjamin Britten.
