KPO Summer Concert
They are thrilled to welcome cellist Jonathan Ayling back to perform some of the most popular gems in the repertoire: Saint-Saens "The Swan", Bruch's "Kol Nidrei" and Dvorak's Rondo for cello and orchestra. The concert will open in rousing fashion with Wagner's "Meistersinger" overture. There will be just one work in the second half, from the land of the midnight sun: Symphony No 1 by Sibelius.
