Martin Carthy returns to Charlton House, in Greenwich on Friday 11th of December to celebrate the GFMA Wassail Night after the packed house and rousing reception he received last year for St George’s Day.
Martin received the BBC Radio Folk Award for Lifetime achievement in 2013 and continues to be one of the leading artists in the world of British Folk Music.
Supporting Martin in this evening of fine music will be the stunning acapella group Morrigan, who released their first album last December on the GFMA record label.
There will also be a welcome return of the Mock Tudor Band, who will be performing music that date back to the time that Charlton house was first built.
