Made Up Theatre

Definitely not an adaptation, but inspired by the novel of the same name by MFK Fisher, Not Now, But Now is the debut production of Made Up Theatre, a brand new theatre company committed to retelling the most interesting stories, whatever their provenance, with the most inspiring artists they can involve.

Not Now But Now tells the tale of Cora, exploring whether she is blessed or cursed with the ability to flout the laws of physics and travel through time and place when circumstances become too dangerous.

Three men: a writer in World War Two London, a musician in 1970s Philadelphia and a scientist in remote Wales in 2021 in three separate plays, are loved, and left by Cora as she wrestles with notions of love, contentment and retaining control.
