Four teenagers escape their parents and head to the woods in search of freedom. In this Midsummer Night they soon discover that the course of true love never did run smooth. Hermia, a dynamic and defiant fifteen year old has just walked out with her sixteen year old boyfriend, Lysander, but they are soon hopelessly lost. Her best friend, the lovesick Helena, has betrayed her whereabouts to Demetrius, an obsessive boy her father would rather she dated.

As Helena and Demetrius gatecrash the young lovers plan, tempers, friendship and frustration reach boiling point. When the mischievous spirit Puck determines to cause chaos can true love survive the spell of the woods?
