Iain & Kath's Film Ring
If you listen to Iain Lee & Katherine Boyle on www.talkradio.co.uk then you will know all about #FilmRing. Every couple of weeks, they pick an obscure documentary for everyone to watch and then discuss it a week or so later. They usually have a guest connected with the film and listeners can call in with their theories and ideas.
Well, #FilmRing has stepped outside of the talkRADIO studios and is now a living, breathing entity. Every month (or thereabouts) Iain & Kath will present a chance for you to come and see an obscure film and have a chat about it afterwards.
The first event is a screening of the Elliot Scott classic 'They Killed My Cat'. As well as this masterpiece, there will also be previously unseen footage from the documentary 'Kung Fu Elliot' and technology permitting, a Q&A via Skype with the film makers.
