Breakconvention Live Presents Roo Panes - Land of the Living EP Release Show with Special Guest Support Emily & The Woods – Live.

Hailing from Wimborne, Dorset, Roo Panes is pleased to announce his new five-track EP ‘Land of the Living’ will be released on December 2nd through CRC Music.

Taken from the forthcoming EP, ‘Home from Home’ puts a strong emphasis on cherishing your family and friends. Roo plays with the idea of whether home is less a destination and more of a contentment with life: “I guess I don’t care about what, when or where, cos I’m starting to realize the question worth asking is who?”

Blending rich melodies with his warm, enveloping vocals, Roo’s songwriting process is raw and natural; the lyrics to lead track ‘Land of the Living’ came to him in a dream and ‘Little Giant’ was written within a few minutes.

Having quietly released two EPs last year including the acclaimed ‘Weight Of Your World’, Roo is currently working on his debut album – due early 2014. He has been expanding his sound and has added strings, harmoniums and all matter of acoustic rarities to his repertoire.
