The Father, The Son, And The Holy Ghost

Shabaka Hutchings will attempt to explain, both, in conversation, and in performance with a band comprising himself (tenor saxophone), Alex Hawkins (piano), John Edwards (bass) and Tom Skinner (drums), playing each of the following compositions:
The Drum Thing, Crescent (Coltrane)
Spiritual, Live at the Village Vanguard (Coltrane)
Upper and Lower Egypt, Tauhid (Sanders)
Astral Travelling, Thembi (Sanders)
Change Has Come, Live at Greenwich Village (Ayler)
Ghosts, Spiritual unity (Ayler)
Amit & Aneesh Patel will be playing records inspirational to Coltrane, Sanders and Ayler from 1730 on the Brilliant Corners sound system.
