Opera In The City Festival - Launch Night
Experience opera at the Bridewell Theatre with a performance of Time Zone Theatre’s new Mozart Medley A Night in Vienna and excerpts of the upcoming Opera In The City Festival, including a taster of their acclaimed production Mozart & Salieri by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
Programme:
7:30pm – 8:30pm: Excerpt of Time Zone Theatre’s production Mozart & Salieri by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and presentation of London’s new Opera In The City Festival this summer at Bridewell Theatre.
8:30pm – 8:50pm: Interval
8:50pm – 9:45pm: A Night in Vienna – A Mozart Medley
Set in the reception area of the infamous Vienna Grand Hotel, three people become entangled in a web of love, affairs and intrigues. A fast-paced journey through the night with songs from Mozart’s most loved operas Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Cosi fan tutte and The Marriage of Figaro.
Accompanied by piano and presented in a fresh interpretation with new English lyrics - Mozart as you’ve never heard it before!
