One Man, Two Guvnors
Brighton, 1963. Francis Henshall is minder to Roscoe Crabbe, who is in town to collect money from his fiancee’s dad. But Roscoe is really Rachel, his sister, posing as her brother who has been killed by her boyfriend, Stanley Stubbers. Henshall takes an opportunity to make a few extra bob helping Stubbers as well as Roscoe. However, avoiding his two guvnors finding out is easier said than done.
One Man, Two Guvnors was first performed to critical acclaim by the National at the Lyttelton Theatre before touring the UK, transferring to the West End, followed by Broadway (where leading man James Corden won the Best Actor Tony Award) and then touring internationally.
