Emrys Baird

Emrys plays homage to the past masters of soul, funk and jazz. It's all ground that's been covered before, but Emrys and his band do it so well and with such style.

Singer Guitarist Emrys Baird fronts his own original Soul band, The Soul Immigrants, which he formed with Nitin Sawhney in the mid 90s.

He regularly writes articles for the Blues and Soul magazine, and composes his own songs for his band.
