No longer the dark science it once was, music technology is increasingly accessible and affordable. In partnership with Sound Connections, the MU is offering a one day intensive workshop ran by Community Music. The workshop which will help teachers wanting to explore how music technology can feed into their own practice including Peripatetic, Statutory and Community Teachers

Learning Outcomes:

- Basic understanding of popular music software

- Hear from fully qualified music tutors about how they incorporate technology

- Real world examples and workshops

- Hands on learning in our professional teaching studios

At CM they use technology to help teach a huge array of students from 8 years olds starting out through to a full foundation degree programme. Learn how we do what they do

There will be lots of hands on time and a chance for you to experiment with the most popular music technology.

The workshop will be relevant and open to all teachers and trainee teachers – regardless of level or musical style.

Technology can be a wonderful addition to your teaching skill set.
