Following stand out performances on Live At The Apollo (BBC1), Let's Dance For Comic Relief (BBC1), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1) and Mock The Week (BBC2), Hal is being strongly tipped as the next big thing.
Hal's comedy is simultaneously warm and catty, straight and camp - it's a lovely mix that has made him a regular guest on John Bishops's Only Joking (Sky1) and led to not one, but two sitcoms being produced this year.
'An absolute joy to watch... fabulous' (The Scotsman)
'Best solo stand-up show to date' (The Daily Telegraph)
'He had the audience eating out of his hands' (Chortle)
'On the edge of great fame' (Fest).

'Anyone who gives this spikily inventive performer the time of day will realise they're in the presence of an A-list talent' (The Guardian)
'Few people have caught the irritated, misanthropic mood of the moment better than this supreme misfit; the only wonder is that it's taking Lawrence so long to become a national institution' (The Daily Telegraph)
'Lawrence rips the cynical heart from his chest and wears it defiantly on his sleeve' (Metro)
'Powerful, sad, angry, true stuff' (The Scotsman)
'... you owe it to yourself to see him' (The Daily Mirror)
