Before writer W S Gilbert met composer Arthur Sullivan to form theatre's most famous partnership, he wrote stories – outrageous, absurd, side-splitting stories – and uproarious ballads.
Now acclaimed duo Mitchell & Nixon – writers of hit plays 'Those Magnificent Men' and 'Big Daddy Vs. Giant Haystacks' – have turned three of Gilbert's funniest tales and two of the best-loved 'Bab Ballads' into this hilarious new show, produced by the multiple award-winning company The Foundry Group.
