Winners of the prestigious Kersjes Prize in 2012, the Van Baerle Trio from Holland bring with them trios for piano and two stringed instruments which speak of passion, beauty and serenity. Haydn's E flat trio feels positively outspoken and perhaps it was the young, talented, female pianist and dedicatee that lent his work that flesh-and-blood feel that the unusually committed players of this brilliant young ensemble are sure to capture.
