30 years after the first collaboration between Malian kora master Toumani Diabaté, double bass legend Danny Thompson and Madrid flamenco group Ketama which produced two albums – Songhai (1988) and Songhai 2 (1994) – Toumani Diabaté reconvenes with former Ketama members, virtuoso flamenco guitarists Juan & Josemi Carmona as well as bassist Javier Colina to revisit the high points of this now classic record at the Barbican in May.
