Kristjan Järvi, younger son of Neeme and brother of Paavo, from the distinguished Estonian musical dynasty, joins forces with one of the LSO’s most popular artists, the Hungarian Romani virtuoso Roby Lakatos, prime exponent of a famous tradition of Central European violin playing which has inspired a wealth of great music from Brahms and Bruch to Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar and modern jazz.
