An Audience With
The living embodiment of Parisian culture, singer Juliette Gréco performs music from her new album Merci, along with some her most famous songs as part of her farewell tour.
With smooth vocals backed by evocative accordion and piano, her music is the epitome of the French sound. Her friend, philosopher Jean Paul Sartre said that she had ‘a million poems in her voice’. Backed here by her husband pianist Gerard Jouannest and accordionist Jean-Louis Matinier, she is still able to translate the same intricacies of emotion through her song.

Juliette Gréco was a French actress and popular chanson singer. She passed away in September 2020, at the age of 93.
