Hermeto Pascoal‘s creative vision exerts a profound influence on today’s music and this July the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, composer, bandleader and force of nature returns to London and the Barbican with a new show, celebrating his 80th year.

This special anniversary concert sees Pascoal and his touring band – that has formed the core of his music for decades – connect again with a community of leading UK musicians who will join them on stage to provide a big band experience that has electrified the city in a series of concerts stretching back into the 90s.
