In this second part of the Barbican’s year long series examining how cinema has changed the world, they take a look at the unique ways in which film constructs us as spectators, and at the enormous cultural influence of the movies. Includes screenings of Persona (1966, Dir. Ingmar Bergman) , A Real Young Girl (1976, Dir. Catherine Breillat, Under the Skin (2013, Dir Jonathan Glazer) and Boy Meets Girl (1984, Dir. Leos Carax).
