Pop-up Opera perform in the atmospheric Asylum Chapel in Peckham.
Isabella the Italian girl is one of the wisest and most formidable women you'll find in opera. Nobody would dare call her a girl, and by the time her story ends, no-one - including her captive lover - is willing to stand in her way. Elvira, wife of the powerful Mustafa, thinks he no longer loves her. He is indeed tired of her and sets her up with Lindoro, a young Italian man recently captured on the high seas by Mustafa's pirates. What Mustafa really wants is an Italian girl. Cue a shipwreck and all havoc breaks loose...
