The sport's biggest tournament will be held at Alexandra Palace in London from December 14 2017 to January 1 2018, when the first World Champion of the New Year will lift the coveted Sid Waddell Trophy.
Dutch star Michael van Gerwen will be defending the World Championship title in the 15-day event, with 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor set to compete in his final tournament before bringing an end to his glittering career.
A new record prize fund will see £1.8 million in prize money on offer, including a £400,000 first prize for the eventual champion.
