Never miss another 'Foals' show
Foals + Cage The Elephant + That F***ing Tank
Foals kick off 2014 with a UK and Ireland tour in February, joined by Cage the Elephant as main support (except London 15th Feb).
Summer of 2013 has been Foals’ busiest and most prolific to date. After releasing their most direct and fully realised third album ‘Holy Fire’ to critical acclaim in February (charting at number 2), the Oxford five piece have since unleashed a feverish assault on live audiences worldwide. America, Europe, Asia, Australia have all witnessed the band’s electrifying live show that’s earned them the reputation as the most exciting British guitar band in Britain.
Foals formed in Oxford in 2005. The band's musical influences are varied, with members citing minimal techno, Arthur Russell, the Irish based math rock band The Redneck Manifesto, Krautrock bands such as Harmonia, and Talking Heads as their main sources of inspiration. Their musical style, however, can be more directly linked to various genres such as math rock, indie Rock or New rave.

A fantastic US punk-funk rock four piece consisting of singer Matt Shultz, guitarist Brad Shultz, bassist Daniel Tichenor, and drummer Jared Champion. The boys have previously toured with Queens of The Stone Age and take their influences from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fun Lovin Criminals and Pearl Jam. The band have notched up a staggering seven no.1s since 2010 on the Billboard Alternative Chart, beating both Muse and the Black Keys.
Cage The Elephant tour dates
Since 2004, Leeds riff-spewing duo TFT have built an international following through the volume and power of their live shows and intensive touring schedule. 2006's album 'Day of Death by Bono Adrenalin Shock' (Jealous Records) garnered the band more mainstream attention, resulting in Maida Vale BBC sessions and broadening their audience outside of DIY circles. That F*cking Tank, however, are proud of their DIY heritage and continue to book their own tours, run a record label and promotions collective and record their albums themselves. That F*cking Tank's sound has developed over the years from a stripped down repetitive riff and groove, resting on James' hard hitting drums and the volume created by Andy's simultaneous use of guitar and bass amplifiers, towards a more complex and refined sound incorporating elements of the pairs musical influences from classic rock through to avant noise. They still retain those f*cking heavy grooves though.
