Clara And Haakon

Clara and Haakon are an Old-time and country western duo project from Floyd, Virginia. They are both influenced by a wide range of traditional music, making their performance a colourful platter of ballads, instrumentals, yodels, sea shanties and country songs.

Clara Delfina is an Old-Time and Country musician who grew up in Northern California and now calls Washington D.C. home. She plays fiddle, guitar, banjo, and sings, drawing influence from folk music from across the world, and combining original pieces and traditional or classic country favourites.

Haakon Oyen is a multi instrumentalist, singer, and buck dancer (an Appalachian style of clogging) from North Carolina. He is well versed in song and dance from North America and has won fiddle, mandolin, and dance contests throughout the southeastern United States.
