DJ Drop-In (Ages 17-25 Years)

Ever wanted to learn how to DJ? Or do you already DJ but want some help perfecting your technique? Come down to the Roundhouse on Thursday nights and get support from our professional DJ tutors to master the art of DJing.

What will I get from taking part?
The Drop-In tutors will cover whatever area of DJing you are interested in, you can just ask them on the night, but skills and topics covered in previous sessions include:

Learn how to operate a DJ deck and structure your set
Get experience using both CDJs and vinyl
Learn how to beat-match and make smooth transitions between tracks
Get advice on how to mix genres and develop your style

Who will be teaching the project?
International DJ Pablo Casa, signed to Dutch label MO-JO Records.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No skills needed – just an interest in learning how to DJ or a desire to develop your existing DJing techniques further.

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
No, everything will be provided. Bring any music you’d like to mix though.
