What will I get from taking part?
By the end of the project you will:

Have heard first-hand accounts from leading political artists about how they use their work to mount a protest or encourage social change.
Have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of experts about their process in developing this kind of work.
Have had the opportunity to meet and network with professional and aspiring artists with similar aims, who may become potential future collaborators.
Hear about how you can get involved in a ground breaking Roundhouse project with professional performance artists this summer.

Who will be leading the masterclass?
Theatre maker Lucy Ellinson whose work includes Grounded (Gate Theatre 2014) and the award-winning political show Torycore.

The masterclass will also feature artists from Breach Theatre Company.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No previous experience is required. This masterclass is for anybody interested in this area or passionate about using performance to make a change in society, whether you are a beginner or already planning and making work.

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
None at all, just bring your enthusiasm and maybe a notebook and pen!

Yes – if you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare find out how you can get support.
