SLAUKA discovered a talent for music in her late teens, quickly picking through her influences and finding a personal style. The early noughties were spent learning the DJ basics whilst spinning at parties throughout London, initially with Techno and Trance, later increasingly delivering Electronica (IDM, Leftfield, Glitchy Hop, Acid and Crunchy, Up and Downbeat), plus absorbing the diverse cultures surrounding her in Hackney and the Shoreditch scene, culminating in a love for Dubstep - the distillation of Roots, Reggae, Dub and Dancehall.
