The Jazz Physicians

The Jazz Physicians are a trio of musicians, Aidan Glover-piano/keyboard, Nick Cohen-bass & Andy Gangadeen-drums, perhaps better known for their work as performers and producers in popular music and electronica. This is no ordinary jazz trio however! With a mix of originals as well as classic and contemporary covers from Neal Hefti to Bob James the project is a vehicle for musical expression outside their usual surroundings. Aidan (Joss Stone, Celine Dion), who composes most of the original material, writes and produces for artists such as Rhys Lewis, Hajaj and Ella Henderson. Andy has played drums for an astonishing list of artists including Jeff Beck, Massive Attack and Labrinth, is the Music Director for Rudimental and worked with Chase and Status for 16 years. Nick has toured and recorded with Ernest Ranglin, Jack Bruce and Matt Bianco among others, and is a founder member of the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion. To paraphrase a well-known quote, “It’s jazz, but not as we know it”!
