Featuring - Gwilym Simcock

Gwilym Simcock is one of the most gifted pianists and imaginative composers working on the British jazz scene today.
With a long list of accolades to his name, he is the first jazz artist to be selected as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and moves effortlessly between jazz and classical music, with a style reminiscent of Keith Jarrett.
Brandon Allen
Australian born saxophonist. Having played alongside Mica Paris, Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Omar, Humphrey Littleton and Denys Baptiste, Brandon Allen is certainly no stranger to the stage.
'Brandon Allen is arguably the most exciting tenor player in Britain today. His phrasing is unashamedly emotional, soaked in the blues tradition' (Tony Hall, Jazzwise magazine).
Kyle Eastwood

Kyle Eastwood - the eldest son of actor Clint Eastwood - grew up in Carmel, California. As a child he listened to records of jazz stars such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Miles Davis playing in the house. His father had been attending the Monterey Jazz Festival since it began in 1958 and when his children were born it became a yearly family outing. Kyle's childhood had jazz as its soundtrack and he credits his father with introducing him to the joys of the bass line.
Today, Kyle Eastwood is less commonly referred to as the son of Clint and more as a universally respected musician and band leader in his own right. As well as being a virtuoso bassist on electric and upright Kyle is also an acclaimed composer who has contributed music to eight of his father's films including Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino.
